Here, right-click on an empty space, then go to View and make sure “Show Desktop icons” is ticked. This will make sure that the apps you add to your desktop home screen are visible so you can click on them and launch directly from the icon.

- Click the Start button on the taskbar. It’s the button with the Windows icon.
- Here, click on the “All apps” button on the right side
- Type the name of your desired application in the search bar or scroll through the list to find it.
- Once you have found the app in the list, simply hold-click on it and drag the application to your desktop home screen.
- This will automatically create a shortcut of the app on your desktop home screen
