In the Google I/O 2023 event, the tech giant announced that Google Bard will be available to generate images soon. This will be possible with the help of Adobe Firefly’s integration with Google Bard which was also, announced in the event. Additionally, Adobe and Google are further considering collaboration by integrating Bard with Adobe’s products like Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and more.
Google Bard isn’t the first mover in the image generation as it will be competing with the Bing image creator which is powered by DALL-E an Open-AI product. So, for the creators who are looking for copyright-free images that should be accurate to their imagination. The image creator AI should match the creator’s taste. So only time will tell how accurate these generative AI can get.
Can Google Bard overcome the Generative AIs limitations?
If you have ever used Bing AI or DALL-E, you would have already noticed the limitations of image creator AIs. These image creator AIs can generate very limited images at a time i.e. less than 15. This limits the user’s options to choose. However, there are a few generative AIs that can get you desired images with a variety of options like Crayion, Stable Diffusion, and Gen-2 by Runway to name a few. However, these generative AIs may not be the cup of tea for all types of users. So, it will be a question of time whether Google Bard can overcome these limitations.
