Apple has recently released the iOS 16 beta 3 revision and added at least one new feature, namely a full-screen view of the music player on the iPhone lock screen. If you are looking to get this feature on your iOS device, then check out the instructions given in this article below.
How to Display Full Screen Music Player on iPhone Lock Screen with iOS 16
With the previous iOS versions, the music being played was displayed via an insert at the bottom of the screen. Tapping the album art launched the Music app. Now the same gesture brings up a full-screen version of the Music Player for a bigger preview of the cover art. Note that it is also functional with podcasts.
Again, all you have to do is simply press on the cover of an Apple Music and Spotify song or album or podcast in the Podcast app when the iPhone is locked to extend the preview to full screen.
This is an opportunity to recall that Apple had announced the full-screen display of music on the locked screen of iOS 16 during the presentation at the WWDC keynote in June. But the feature was not available. It is now, however.
If you want to display the full-screen Music Player on your iPhone, then you just need to download and install the latest iOS 16 beta 3 update on your iOS device. To get the latest iOS version on your iPhone, follow the steps given below:
