The Clicks per Second depend on two main factors, i.e. Polling rate of the Mouse & your Clicking Speed. On average, a Mouse has a Polling Rate of 125 Hz. That’s 125 pings to the Computer that can be considered clicks. So that makes it a total of 125 Clicks per Second on a Computer. That is more than 12 times what a person can output. But the fun doesn’t end there.
It is possible to increase the Polling Rate from 125 Hz to 1000 Hz. An increase of 8 times. So it is possible to have a 1000 CPS making it the max amount of Clicks per Second a Computer can process. To give a perspective, you will have a click every millisecond. That’s the equivalent of 100 people clicking at the speed of 10 clicks in a second. That is insanely fast. And that’s where the concept of Auto-Clickers comes in. Many games require the user to click to get resources. This takes a lot of time & as such, auto-clickers were born.
