The announcement of the Mortal Kombat 1 game seasoned with trailer and release date showcased many fighters, especially those from the very first chapters. After some Mortal Kombat fans said they were a bit confused about the specific identities of the characters shown in the reveal trailer, apparently there will also be room for some guest stars.

If Amazon had already leaked some of the extra characters that will appear after the launch, such as Johnny Cage, Khameleon, Mavado, Ferra and Jean Claude Van Damme’s skin for Johnny Cage, Quan Chi, Omni Man, Ermac, Peacemaker, Takeda, and Homelander, apparently the surprises may not have ended here.

According to reports, in fact, it seems that actress Megan Fox and rapper Travis Scott will also be part of the roster of Mortal Kombat 1 in some way. That’s according to insider Colin Moriarty, who covered Mortal Kombat 1’s surprising guests in a recent edition of Sacred Symbols.

Moriarty claims that the same person who accurately revealed to him that Jean-Claude Van Damme will be in the game also mentioned the presence of Fox and Scott. Van Damme was confirmed as an alternate skin for Johnny Cage shortly after the game’s reveal trailer last week.

The as-yet-unnamed source didn’t reveal any details on how Fox and Scott will be grafted into the game, but the inclusion of Van Damme as a skin suggests that both the actress and the rapper could lend their likenesses to the game to become iconic MK characters.

Mortal Kombat 1 will be available in physical and digital versions on September 19 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Beta access will be available in August 2023.
