You can unlock the LAS-98 Laser Cannon once you reach the level 5. So, keep on progressing the game missions or quests to obtain this weapon. Once you reach the level 5, follow the below steps:
- Head to the Ship Management before reaching the bridge.
- Interact with the console by pressing the E button.
- Switch to the Stratagems tab and navigate to Engineering Bay.
- Then, press the assigned keybind to select the weapon.
