Luckily, the multiplayer shooter game supports crossplay to invite your friends. Adding more, crossplay allows you to play with friends across PS5 and PC. How to Use the Helldivers 2 Crossplay to Play with Friends
You can use the crossplay to invite and play with your friends by heading to the Social tab. You can find it in the Options menu. But before that, ensure that you have a PlayStation Plus subscription for multiplayer.
So, follow the below steps:
- As you head to the Socials tab, you will find a list of all of your added friends.
- From there, you can generate an eight-digit code to share with your friends and add them.
- Once shared, your friends can enter that code in the Search option at the top.
- You can invite or join their squad after the code is entered.
- Now, all they need to do is accept the invite to get started.
In addition to using the crossplay in Helldivers 2, many players also prefer to play solo. For such players, you can also disable this feature.
How to Disable Crossplay
Follow the below steps:
- Head to the Options tab and select the Gameplay option.
- Navigate to the Crossplay option.
- Select and toggle the option to turn it off.
- Save the settings.
That said, you can also follow these steps to turn the crossplay on. All you need to do is toggle the “On” option.
