Specifications
The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is powered by Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, similar to Samsung Z Fold 5 processor. Furthermore, the outer display panel is 2520×1080 120Hz AMOLED while the inner foldable display is 8.03-inch LTPO AMOLED 1916 × 2160 120Hz (240Hz max) with a peak brightness of 2600 nits both HDR10+. Further, it houses a 4800 mAh battery pack inside which can be charged by 67W Wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Additionally, one of the main highlights of the Mix Fold 3 is its camera. The rear has a Quad camera setup with a Leica 50MP main lens, using Sony’s IMX800 sensor + 12 MP Ultra Wide Angle + 10MP Leica Portrait Telephoto with OIS, and lastly, Leica periscope telephoto with optical image stabilization. While the front camera is 20 MP wide Angle.
Furthermore, in the build of the device, for a smooth folding mechanism, Xiaomi reports the Mix Fold 3 has a “Micro Water drop hinge”. The hinge is 8% slimmer and occupies a 17% smaller area, due to which the entire smartphone becomes lighter and thinner. Lastly, it is available in 2 color options with one edition: Star Gold, Moon Shadow, and Xiaomi Dragon Scale Fiber Edition.
