During the Samsung Unpacked event, the South Korean company presented a number of new products, including the new generation of foldable smartphones Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, both with the support of 5G technology. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 Price, Specifications, and more
At first glance, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 looks similar to its predecessor, and that’s okay, as the design of the Galaxy Z Fold2 itself is fine. As for the technical specifications, the smartphone boasts an external 6.2-inch display with a resolution of 2268 × 832 pixels with a 120 Hz refresh rate, while the main screen is a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X with a resolution of 2208 × 1768 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The CPU of the folded Galaxy Z Fold3 smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor supported by 12 GB RAM LPDDR5 and 256/512 GB of built-in memory for additional USF 3.1 data. The whole device works under the control of Android 11.
Galaxy Z Fold3 is powered by a battery with a capacity of 4400 mAh charged with a power of 25W wired and 10W inductively. It also supports 4.5W reverse charging. Interestingly, the box does not contain a charger, but this does not apply to the Chinese market.
Fans of photography can count on a triple set of cameras in Galaxy Z Fold 3 – the main 12 MP f/1.8 with ultra-wide 12 MP lens f/2.2 + 12 MP telephoto lens f/2.4. Under the internal display, we find a 4 MP selfie camera, and a 10 MP unit has been added to the external display.
The smartphone measures 67.1 × 158.2 × 16 mm when unfolded and 128.1 × 158.2 × 6.4 mm when unfolded. Its weight is 271g. The device has a waterproof housing (IPX8). Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be offered at a price of $1,799.99 (roughly Rs. 1,33,600) in the US. The device supports the S Pen stylus and one with the case is added to pre-release orders. This is not the only foldable novelty from a South Korean manufacturer.

Another smartphone in the foldable category is the Galaxy Z Flip3. The phone is equipped with Snapdragon 888, as well as 8 GB RAM LPDDR5 + 128/256 GB of memory for UFS 3.1 data.
In addition, the smartphone boasts a 1.9-inch Super AMOLED external screen with a resolution of 512 x 260 pixels and an internal display of 6.7 inches, Dynamic AMOLED 2X 120 Hz, 2640 x 1080 pixels. On the back we find two cameras – the main 12 MP f/1.8) + 12 MP f/2.2 wide-angle module, while on the front there is a 10 MP lens.
The device supports dual-band, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, or the NFC system. It also has a USB type C connector. The whole smartphone is powered by two batteries with a capacity of 3300 mAh with 15W wired and 10W induction charging. The phone has a waterproof casing (IPX8) and an 80% harder PET foil.
The stereo speaker system has not been forgotten. The dimensions of the phone are: 86.24 x 72.2 x 17.1 mm, open 166.2 x 72.2 x 6.9 mm, 183 g. Galaxy Z Flip3 price starts at $999.99 (Rs. 74,200) in the US.
