How to Turn Off Suggested Posts on Instagram (2023)

Suggested post on Instagram is a feature that automatically generates some suggestion posts based on what users like or who they follow, it will suggest users to follow some pages by showing recently shared posts or sometimes promoted posts shared by that page. This generally appears after you have seen all the content posted by the pages you follow. Sometimes, users are not happy with the suggested post and want to disable this new feature. Steps to Turn Off Suggested Posts on Instagram (2023)

There is no way you can permanently disable the entire suggested post feature on Instagram. But, you can report Instagram by marking “Not interested” by following this simple workaround.

1. Once you have seen all the posts shared by the pages you follow, you will see a message “You’ve completely caught up” and below this the “Suggested posts” will be already loaded on your feed.
2. Now, tap on the three dots on the top corner of the post to trigger a popup menu.
3. In the popup menu, tap on “Not interested” and then select the appropriate reason to fine-tune your suggested post feed.
4. This will alert Instagram to not suggest any concurring posts in the future.

On the other hand, Instagram has also introduced a feature of disabling the entire suggested post for 30 days in some regions. So, if this feature is enabled in your country, you can choose this option by tapping on the three dots and selecting “Snooze all posts for 30 days”.  You can also tap on “View Older Posts” to move the suggested post further below.
