  • First, click on the Start menu and type Command Prompt (CMD).
  • From the top list, right-click on Command Prompt and select the option of “Run as administrator”.
  • In the CMD window, type the command mentioned below:
    attrib +s +h “%appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\desktop.ini”
  • Press the Enter key.
  • Once the process is completed, type another command mentioned below:
    attrib +s +h “%programdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\desktop.ini”
  • Press Enter key.
  • Finally, once the process is finished, exit CMD and then check that the error will be resolved now.
