iPhone 15 Models

Apple is expected to present many models of its smartphone ranging from iPhone 15, Pro, and Pro Max and Ultra models. The basic iPhone 15 model would be probably with a 6.1-inch screen size, while iPhone 14 Pro, Pro Max, and Ultra models could be with a 6.7-inch diagonal.

The iPhone 15 series smartphones, as per tradition, should be presented during this year of September 2023. Apple has always kept the utmost confidentiality on prices, but it is reasonable to expect that they will be slightly higher than those of the iPhone 14, which starts at $1,399 USD (for the 6.1-inch models) and from $1,489 for the Max model.

If there is an Ultra version of the iPhone 15 Pro, this could instead cost significantly more. When it is also difficult to say but the horizon of $2500 USD for versions with 1 TB of memory may not be too far away.

iPhone 15 Designs

Reliable predictions can be made regarding the aesthetic factor. At the moment, all rumors suggest that the iPhone 15 series will be similar to the current iPhone 14 models. The main difference, which however does not concern the Pro models, is that the new Dynamic Island could expand to the standard models.

Some past rumors have raised the possibility that the iPhone 15 Pro could have a titanium body, with more curved rear edges instead of the current squared design. This change would make iPhone look closer to the current 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro lineup.

Display & Camera

The iPhone 15 is rumored to feature a 6.1-inch OLED display with a smaller notch than the previous models. The notch will reportedly house a Face ID sensor and a selfie camera with a higher resolution and a wider angle. Also, the iPhone 15 will have a new A16 Bionic chip, which will offer faster performance and better battery efficiency. Moreover, it will have a new camera system, with a 48-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with optical zoom.

The iPhone 14 and 14 Plus models have a battery capacity of 3200 mAh, while the iPhone 14 Pro models have a battery capacity of 4300 mAh. So, iPhone 15 and 15 Plus are expected to have a battery capacity of 3500 mAh and the Pro models will have a battery capacity of 4500 mAh at least. But nothing yet is confirmed. Moreover, iPhone 15 models are expected to support MagSafe accessories, such as wireless chargers and cases. But there are rumors that the iPhone 15 will be switching from lightning to USB-C cables as per the new European Union environment laws. So, we will have to wait and see what kind of innovative changes will Apple bring to iPhone 15.

iPhone 15 CPU and RAM

It is widely expected that the Apple A17 Bionic chip will manage the iPhone 15 series smartphones. But at the WWDC event, no such chipset was announced, So it’s most likely that Apple will go with the A16 Bionic chipset for enhanced performance.
