To insert checkboxes in Google Sheets, follow this workaround:
- Firstly, open a new Spreadsheet on Google Sheets on your PC.
- Then select the cells where you want to insert the checkboxes. You can select a single cell, a range of cells, or an entire column or row.
- Now click the ‘Insert’ tab from the toolbar to open a menu.
- From the Insert menu, select the ‘Checkbox’ or the ‘Tick box’ option.
- Alternatively, you can right-click on the selected cells and select the Insert checkbox from the context menu.
