How to Put iPhone 14 in the Recovery Mode

  • This first step requires you to connect your phone to iTunes or Finder, which you can do by inserting a lightning cable on your phone and the Mac.
  • Your iPhone will ask you if you trust this computer or not, choose “Trust“.
  • Now quickly press the volume up and volume down button, then press and hold the power button.
  • Till you see a “support.apple.com/iphone/restore” written on the upper part of your iPhone and a picture of the tab and cable on your screen.
  • You have successfully entered Recovery mode. If you are using iTunes you’ll see two options, update and restore.
  • When you choose to update, all your data stays intact.
  • But when you choose to restore, all your data will get erased, and your phone will go into factory mode.

How to Get Out of Recovery Mode

Press and hold the power button till everything disappears and the iPhone 14 starts to reboot.

When to Use Recovery Mode

  • If your iPhone is stuck on the Apple logo or going through a continuous series of boot loops.
