However, most Apple users may not have the latest iPhone 14. Hence, to get Dynamic Island on any iPhone, this guide will help you.
iPhone: Get Dynamic Island on any device (2023)
Unfortunately, Dynamic island is only available for iPhone 14 device users that are running on iOS 16. However, a few curious users may try to jailbreak their iOS 15 iPhones or higher version iPhones to get Dynamic island. But this method isn’t feasible for all iPhone users. Hence, you can use third-party applications like DynamicCow to exploit the bugs on your iPhone to use Dynamic Island on your iPhone. For the same, here’s the workaround to follow:
- The prerequisite requirement for this method is to have an iPhone with iOS 16.0 or 16.1.2 version installed. This method won’t work if you have iOS 16.2 or higher versions.
- Now download Altserver on your Windows or Mac desktop from the Altstore website.
- Install the Mail Plugin on the Altserver.
- Enable the Mail plugin by going to Mail > Preferences > Manage Plugins > General > AltPlugin.Mailbundle > Apply and Restart Mail from the ‘Mail’ app.
- Now connect your iPhone to your MacBook or Windows desktop using a USB cable and allow all permissions to install Altstore.
- Open the AltStore app on your iPhone and sign in with your Apple ID.
- Visit the DynamicCow GitHub page on your iPhone and download the latest release of the app.
- Now open the AltStore again and tap on the ‘+’ icon.
- Select DynamicCow.ipa application to install.
- Open the DynamicCow app and select the iPhone 14 model or iPhone 14 pro model layout depending on your iPhone and the screen size and tab on the ‘Enable’ button.
- Now you can use Dynamic Island on your iPhone and experience the iPhone 14 series UI.
Is using DynamicCow safe?
This method is safer than jailbreaking your iPhone. The DynamicCow exploits the ‘MacDirtyCow’ bug to temporarily modify the files in your device. Hence, we recommend being careful when using such bug-exploiting apps because the device becomes vulnerable to Malware attacks.
