How to Download and Play Roblox on Chromebook (2023)
Anyone who knows about Google and Google Play Store, practically everyone on the internet, knows how easy it is to download Roblox on any mobile phone or computer. There are two different methods to download Roblox on Chromebook depending on which version of Chromebook you own. Here are both of these methods:
Method 1: Download Roblox from Google Play Store
Google, for some unknown reasons, does not let all the Chromebook versions use the Google Play Store. It can be a bit irritating for some users. But if you are lucky enough to have the Play Store on your Chromebook, follow these steps to download Roblox:
- Open Google Play Store on your Chromebook. You can find it easily on your desktop, at the bottom of the screen.
- Search ‘Roblox’ using the search bar.
- Open the first search result.
- Click on ‘Install’.
The Roblox app will now be downloaded and installed on your Chromebook.
Method 2: Download Roblox APK File
If you are among those users who do not have access to Google Play Store on their Chromebooks, do not worry. There is a workaround for downloading Roblox on your Chromebook without the Play Store. Follow the steps mentioned below:
- Download an APK file of Roblox using your preferred browser. You just have to search for ‘Roblox APK’ and you will find plenty of sources to download from.
- Get to the location where this APK file is saved. Move this file to a folder, either a new or an existing one.
- Open the ‘Chrome Web Store’ on your Chromebook and download ‘ARC Welder’.
- Open the ARC Welder app.
- Select ‘Choose’.
- Navigate to the Roblox APK file that you saved. Choose ‘Add APK File’ and continue with the on-screen instructions.
Complete all the steps mentioned above and you will be able to play Roblox on your Chromebook. You can use either of the methods mentioned above if you have access to the Google Play Store, but the second method will do the trick for you if you don’t. Use any of these methods to download and play Roblox on your Chromebook.
