Despite being called a Pokemon rip-off, Palworld has been constantly breaking records within a few weeks of its early access launch. As for now, this popular Pokemon-like game is available only on Xbox consoles and PC via Steam and Game Pass. But as it keeps on rising in popularity, will Palworld be on Switch and PS5?

Is Palworld Coming to Nintendo Switch?
Currently, there is no word or signs of Palworld coming to Switch. While it’s neither announced nor denied, the chances of Palworld on Nintendo are bleak. Speaking of which, Nintendo is like a haven for non-violent and kids-friendly games. So, it’s likely that the game will be released on Switch.
That aside, the Pokemon Company also released a statement stating, “We intend to investigate and take appropriate measures to address any acts that infringe on intellectual property rights related to the Pokémon“. That said, the company hasn’t pressed any legal charges against Pocketpair, the developers of Palworld as of now.
Considering Nintendo is a haven for a plethora of Pokemon games, it’s unlikely that the game will come to the platform. But as of now, there’s no telling about the possibility. We will update this guide with more info as soon as we get word.
Is Palworld Coming to PS5 (PlayStation 5)?
As of now, there is no concrete evidence indicating Palworld will be on PS5 or PlayStation. However, the developers, Pocketpair considered including PS5 as stated in their Discord FAQ page. Adding more, Shuhei Yoshida of Sony gave some clarity regarding this in an X (Twitter) post.
During one of his interactions with a fan who tagged and asked him to release the game on PS5, Yoshida simply replied “Yes“. Considering he is the Head of the Independent Developer Initiative, it might indicate that Palworld is coming to the PlayStation platform soon.
Until there is no announcement from Pocketpair or Sony, there is no telling when. But we can expect the game to be released on PS5 in the future. If that happens, we will update this guide with more info.
