In these hours, the arrival of a new one-hour free trial version for a very recent game on PS Plus Premium has been confirmed, and it is none other than The Callisto Protocol. The Callisto Protocol Free One-Hour Trial for PS Plus Premium Subscribers
Starting today, PS Plus Premium subscribers can experience The Callisto Protocol at no additional cost. The survival horror title has been added to the test catalog, allowing up to 1 hour of gameplay without any content restrictions.
Unfortunately, this trial version falls within the particularly “short” ones offered by PS Plus Premium, as other games, in fact, allow you to have access for three hours, before being interrupted. In this case, however, you will have to settle for just one hour, which should still be enough to understand if the space horror proposed by the title may or may not be in your comfort zone.
The timing of this trial version is obviously not random, since the news of the arrival of The Callisto Protocol expansion DLC is recent, the hope of the publisher is that more players will approach the title thanks to PS Plus, with the prospect that users may then proceed to buy and play the expansion as well.
The trial version of The Callisto Protocol consists of the Standard edition, which can be purchased at the PS Store for $69.99. This way, fans of the genre only have access to the base game — expansions, downloadable content, and additional items that are not included.
Launched in December 2022, the title takes players to the Dark Iron prison, situated on the moon of Jupiter. There, a survivor must overcome all obstacles, after the local population is the target of a mysterious mutation.
