Similar to other Legendaries, you can get and encounter Origin Forme Giratina only as a Raid boss. It will be featured with the Origin Formes of Dialga and Palkia during the Raid hour on February 23, 2024, from 6 pm to 7 pm local time. But if you have gotten past that window, you can encounter Origin Forme Giratina as a boss in 5-star raids until February 26, 2024, at 10 pm.
The best part about this raid is that the Giratina will feature an exclusive move, Shadow Force. But aside from its rarity and moves, this Pokemon is best for its offensive combat stats. So, here’s the maximum CP for the Tier 5 Raid boss:

Can the Origin Forme Giratina Be a Shiny?
Yes, the shiny variant of Origin Forme Giratina has been available since October 2020. You can encounter this variant during five-star raids at certain Raid hours. But since there is only a 5% chance for a shiny encounter in Pokemon GO, we recommend participating in more raids.
The more raids you participate in, the better your chances of encountering a shiny Origin Forme Giratina. Sadly, there are no other ways to make them spawn in raids.
