PlayStation Showcase To Happen in Late May 2023 – Rumor

PlayStation Showcase Is Reportedly Happening in Late May 2023

If the various State of Plays of recent months, like the last one in which we saw Suicide Squad in action, have already revealed some upcoming releases, apparently the best is yet to come. In fact, after the latest rumors about the development teams present, the next PlayStation Showcase could be very close, according to the words of the journalist Andy Robinson.

In that sense, Robinson said the following: “I also heard a Sony Showcase is happening in the usual late May / early June window, with Konami stuff included. I’m not expecting Nintendo to do anything.”

The showcase dedicated to the new upcoming games of PS5 will reveal what awaits us in the coming months as regards the PlayStation universe.

Jeff Grubb revealed last month that Sony is planning to air a new showcase ahead of Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest 2023. Since the event in question will be held on June 8, the Sony showcase could take place this month, or perhaps in the first week of June.

But that’s not all, in these hours the news has emerged that PlayStation would have obtained an important agreement with Konami for the exclusivity of numerous new games, including a new Metal Gear Solid, which is why Robinson’s words are gaining credibility now.

In other news, there were some reports that stated that a new Star Wars RTS (real-time strategy) is in development at a “Big-Namedeveloper”.
