PlayStation Plus Will Lose 8 Games in September 2023
Sony has recently unveiled the 17 free video games in the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalog of August 2023, with surprises including day-one titles arriving in the lineup.
Now, however, according to reports, the “Last chance to play” section of the PlayStation Store has been updated, revealing which PS5 and PS4 games will leave the PS Plus services catalog in September 2023.

In fact, on September 19, 2023, eight games will leave PS Plus Extra and Premium. An extra title will leave the catalog on August 31st. Here they are, listed below:
- Chicory: A Colorful Tale
- Death end re;Quest 2
- Deathloop
- Nidhogg 2
- Steep (August 31)
- Through the Darkest of Times
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands
- Watch Dogs
- Watch Dogs 2
The list mainly includes some Ubisoft games, as well as some notable indie titles such as Chicory and Nidhogg 2. Deathloop was added to PS Plus Extra in September 2022, so it will leave the service after a year. Given that the title in question is now owned by Microsoft, its exit from PS Plus is not a big surprise.
Now, in the face of the goodbyes, it will be interesting to see what titles will be added to the service next month to replace them. Until then, PS Plus Extra and Premium members will be able to try 17 more games, including Lost Judgment, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed, Cursed to Golf, and more. What do you think about the games leaving PS Plus in September 2023?
