Mass Effect Legendary Edition, the collection of the first three Mass Effect games, may soon arrive on Xbox Game Pass. You can spot the Game Pass badge on the remastered trilogy of the game in the image uploaded above. This means that the game will be available for free on Xbox consoles for users who have subscribed to the Xbox Game Pass.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition Free Via Xbox Game Pass
As reported by the Polish site XGP, in fact, the Microsoft Store marks the Legendary Edition of Mass Effect, as well as Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3, with the words “Game Pass.” At the time of writing the news, the wording is still present.
So there is no doubt that Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will most likely arrive on Xbox Game Pass via EA Play, Electronic Arts’ subscription service included in Game Pass Ultimate since last year.
EA adds a game to EA Play several months after its launch, and considering that Mass Effect: Legendary Edition came out last May 2021, it may not be long before its introduction in the Xbox Game Pass catalog.
Still talking about Xbox Game Pass, many players also heard rumors regarding Cyberpunk 2077 coming to the Microsoft subscription service, but recently CD Projekt RED denied rumors about the same.
However, in the coming days, several other games will be added to the Xbox Game Pass catalog, while from the beginning of the week it will be possible to take advantage of Xbox Cloud Gaming also on consoles.
