Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Apparently Confirms Venom’s Identity

In the occasion of the concert for the first 10 years of TGA, Insomniac Games would have confirmed the identity of Venom in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is coming in October 2023, but now has arrived, as it seems, the confirmation of who will be the host of Venom (and no, it will not be Eddie Brock). The symbiote is decidedly scary and will be among the antagonists of Peter Parker and Miles Morales in the next sequel. Check out all the details below.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Confirms Identity of Venom

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Apparently Confirms Venom's Identity

According to the first statements of Insomniac a few weeks ago, apparently, the villain will be even more ruthless than usual in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Now, although fans already had several theories about Venom’s identity, it seems that this one was revealed a few hours ago.

As reported by IGN, on the occasion of the concert for the first 10 years of The Game Awards, Insomniac Games would have confirmed who is hiding under the symbiote Venom.

Warning: Spoilers on the characters in the game follow from now, so proceed at your own risk.

The clip posted on Twitter takes up the ending of the first Marvel’s Spider-Man, suggesting that Harry Osborn will become the symbiote Venom. In fact, Venom’s face appears at the end of the video, after the man places his hands on the case containing the alien.

So, if it will be Harry to wear the dark symbiote suit in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 only time will tell us everything, even if this last clue would seem to confirm it quite clearly.

It is also true that considering how much Insomniac has wanted to keep Venom’s identity secret until today, nothing rules out the possibility that it could be a misdirection to confuse the fans of the series, we will have to wait and see the possibility.

In other news, exclusive to PlayStation 5, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 had its main theme available, entitled “Greater Together”. The composition was under the responsibility of John Paesano. You can listen to the theme song below.
