It seems like the long-delayed LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is finally coming out, and it looks like it will be soon. According to reports, the release date of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was accidentally leaked on the Microsoft Store. However, an official confirmation is still pending, so the date should be enjoyed with a little caution.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Release Date Leaked
The new LEGO Star Wars video game was supposed to be launched in 2020, but it was delayed several times by the developers. According to the statements issued by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment from August last year, the release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga should take place in spring 2022.
Now, according to a leak by the Twitter user @ALumia_Italia, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is scheduled to release on April 5th, 2022. Whether this date is correct or not, the leaked release date on the Microsoft Store gives fans of the video game series little hope that the title will indeed be released soon and not be postponed again.
As per the developers’ announcements, the latest LEGO Star Wars video game adventure will also be the biggest in the series yet. The game should cover all nine Star Wars films in terms of content. The players will be able to visit many planets, meet iconic characters and take part in large-scale galactic battles.
Additionally, players will get the option to unlock special in-game content with the help of unlock codes. The codes already existed in some LEGO Star Wars sets in 2020. It will be curious to see if these codes will still be around when it’s released.
On shopping portals like Amazon, not much has changed in terms of the release date. December 31, 2022, is still the placeholder date here. The video game can be pre-ordered there for all common game consoles.
Remember that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will release on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
