The new Indiana Jones game produced by Bethesda has long been absent from the scene since to-date, and fans have not yet had the opportunity to see it in action, but now, a report has emerged that states that the title will feature first-person and third-person modes. Check out all the details below.
Indiana Jones Game Will Have First-Person & Third-Person Mode – Report
After a few months ago Todd Howard had the opportunity to reveal the first details on Bethesda’s new Indiana Jones game, but today it has emerged that the title will be an action-adventure that will mix first and third-person mode.
XboxEra’s Shpeshal Nick said in his podcast that he has information about the camera view that will be featured in the game. MachineGames has only developed first-person games, but Indiana Jones would perhaps be better suited to a third-person view, like that of Naughty Dog’s Uncharted.
According to Nick’s source, the game will offer a combination of both, albeit fixed and not switchable at will like a classic Bethesda game. Here are the words of the insider:
“Now I don’t know if it is finalized or not, because the game I think is still quite a bit away, but from what I’ve been told, from what I’ve heard, it’s going to be both. Not like Starfield where you get to pick, but there’ll be specific – as far as I’m aware, there’ll be specific sections. Some will be in the third person, some will be in the first person. I have no more detail than that.”
It’s certainly an interesting choice, however, it remains to be seen whether the third-person sections will be limited to vehicles or not.
In other news, it was confirmed that the upcoming Indiana Jones game will be Xbox exclusive title, but later on, also releasing on PC platforms.
