Despite the rocky release, Helldivers 2 keeps you occupied with its daily missions, operations, and enemies. The Scout Striders are one of these enemies that can help you earn and claim free rewards. That’s because eliminating 20 Scout enemies also completes one of the daily missions in-game. While taking them out is easier, finding Scout Strides can be a bit of a hassle. As players get started on their hunt, they are neither able. Don’t worry, check out our guide to find out how to beat Scout Striders in Helldivers 2.

In our guide find out where to find 20 Scout Striders with their exact locations. So, here’s everything to know about finding and killing these enemies. So, here’s everything you need to know about them.

Where to Find the Scout Striders in Helldivers 2? Locations

The Scout Striders are Automaton-type enemies, so you can find them only in those systems. There is no point in heading into the Terminid systems to find them. As you head to the Galactic War map, you can find the Automaton regions or systems marked as red. You can head to any of these regions to find Scout Striders. It’s also worth noting that Scout Striders can only be found in Medium or higher difficulty.

If you haven’t unlocked the difficulty yet, you must complete one Easy-ranked and one Trivial-ranked mission. While relative, it should take you not more than 45 minutes to complete both missions.

After unlocking the difficulty, head over to the Automaton marked regions to complete the daily task. Over there, scan for the Scout Striders at extraction points, optional points of interest (POIs), and bases.

How to Kill 20 Scout Striders in Helldivers 2

The Scout Striders are typically walking turrets similar to “AT-ST Walker” of the Star Wars franchise. You must strategize and come up with a plan before killing these enemies.

For that, here are the strategies or tips to help you kill them:

    • You can sneak behind Scout Striders and attack the robot operating the vehicle to take them down.
    • While these enemies are heavily armored, their backs are usually unarmored. So, attacking them from the back can deal more damage as compared to the front.
    • You can also use explosives like grenades to stun or eliminate them.
    • Note that these enemies don’t move fast, so throwing a grenade behind them can easily take them out.

That’s everything covered about how to beat and kill Scout Striders in Helldivers 2.
