GTA 6 Release Date Teased by Take-Two Boss

Take-Two continues to be particularly optimistic for the next fiscal year, suggesting that the release date of GTA 6 is near.

Even if Rockstar Games is still in an extremely loud way silent about GTA 6, to the point that some fans seem to have gotten really fed up, the publisher Take-Two is much more optimistic and, while not naming it directly, continues to give hints about its possible release date. Check out what the CEO of Take-Two has to say about the release date of Grand Theft Auto VI in detail below.

During the last fiscal report, the CEO of Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick, had anticipated that the 2025 fiscal year would be a record one: a time window that includes from April 2024 until March 2025. And considering the promised performances, it would seem that this could be the launch window of GTA 6.

But the publisher has not yet finished throwing clues about the sequel to Grand Theft Auto V, because according to reports, the CEO of Take-Two has in fact released an interview with CNBC, underlining that it is expected takings of as much as 8 billion during that fiscal year.

Zelnick also admitted that there will be a “very robust pipeline of titles” arriving during fiscal 2025, but it is clear that the only series capable of moving such numbers – with all due respect to the other big franchises of Take-Two, of course — it’s Grand Theft Auto game itself.

And the CEO himself does not hide that GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated games ever. It therefore becomes almost impossible not to make a connection with the fiscal year in question, which becomes a particularly credible launch window.

It is clear that, until a certain and definitive confirmation arrives in this regard, the only additional comment we can make in this regard is to take everything with a pinch of salt, but the wait for the next chapter of the Rockstar Games open-world series may have reached a tipping point by now.
