Considering that the launch of GTA 6 could take place by the end of 2024 (Take-Two has launched a new clue in the latest financial reports by stating the following: “We believe that we will enter our next phase of growth in Fiscal 2025, as we plan to deliver several groundbreaking titles that we anticipate will set new standards of quality and success and enable us to deliver over $8 billion in Net Bookings and over $1 billion in Adjusted Unrestricted Operating Cash Flow. We expect to sustain this momentum with additional growth in operating performance in Fiscal 2026,” Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said in May”) we will surely know something soon.

Now, however, according to the leaked footage, a work-in-progress video of GTA 6 showing a police chase has appeared on the net. Courtesy of the “@RockstarGTAVl” account, which has been sharing quite a bit of leaked content on Twitter (which is still online as of this writing), some of which showcases a variety of gameplay segments, though none of it looks like it belongs in the complete version.

Among these, one stands out which shows a chase by the police force, with the player in the back of a pick-up truck armed with a submachine gun. The police AI has recently made headlines, as it has reportedly been overhauled compared to that of Grand Theft Auto V, making it smarter, more responsive, and therefore significantly more dangerous for the player.

At this point, we are really eager to see how it all looks in the final product, which apparently Rockstar still seems to want to keep a secret, away from announcements of any kind.

After all, we are talking about a video game that seems to have cost as much as 2 billion dollars, so it seems more than fair that Rockstar wants to show it only when it’s ready.
