Diablo 4 Boss: How to Unlock and Defeat the Beast in the Ice

The Ice Boss is located towards the south of Kyovashad, one of the five new bosses in Diablo IV. The player will have to craft a special item to summon this boss. How to Summon Beast in the Ice in Diablo 4

The Ice Boss will drop a lot of cosmetic items and some unique stuff. The boss is inside a dungeon, below is his exact location and what items are required to unlock the boss battle.

Diablo IV Ice Boss Location

Ice Boss is located in the final chamber inside Glacial Fissure Nightmare Dungeon. The door will obstruct you from crossing into the dungeon as it requires a special item to unlock. You will have to find an Occultist to craft a Sigil that will provide you access to the door.

Diablo IV Distilled Fear

To craft Nightmare Sigil, you will need 9 Distilled Fear, 250 Sigil Powder, and 30,000 Gold. Find an Occultist and craft two to three of Nightmare Sigil and walk towards the marked location on the map. Consume the Nightmare Sigil and walk into the portal, you will enter the Glacial Fissure.  Complete Nightmare Dungeon Tier 31 or higher to collect Distilled Fear.

How to Defeat the Ice Boss Easily in Diablo 4?

Once you are in the dungeon, make your way towards the boss by fighting the smaller enemies. The horde of enemies will increase as you reach near to the boss area. Once you are in, the boss Beast in the Eye will appear. He is a Level 85 Boss, prone to 20% additional physical damage if attacked with cold. There are four revives allowed during the boss battle.

There will be different waves of fight, as the boss will also summon smaller enemies. It is not really a very tough boss fight, if your character is leveled up enough, then this will go smoothly. The boss will take time, as the Beast in the Ice has a huge health bar. He will be using airborne attacks in between, along with on-ground sweeps. Once done here is the list of times the boss drops.
