Anyone who was looking forward to an early release of the Dead Space Remake will unfortunately be disappointed. According to EA, this is still a long way off, probably beyond 2022.
The publisher confirmed this in the latest annual report, where no information is given about a potential release window. It is also unknown where exactly the development is at the moment. Nevertheless, the feedback on the announcement is overwhelming, as they say.
Dead Space Remake was in great demand
Dead Space Remake was preceded by a great demand from the fans, as they emphasize, which is why they now have one of the greatest productions in their portfolio. In that sense, the CEO and Director, Andrew Wilson, commented the following during the conference call:
“There’s no lot more I can share about that. It’s a little ways out yet, but the studio has taken it on. “I would close on that point by saying it was one of the most demanded titles for us, maybe just after Skate, which we’ve also announced we’re bringing back, and the response was very positive to the announcement that we’re back in development. But I would just – I would close on that point by saying it was one of the most demanded titles for us, maybe just after Skate, which we’ve also announced we’re bringing back, and the response was very positive to the announcement that we’re back in development.”
More information about the Dead Space Remake would like to be communicated as the development progresses. Recall that Dead Space Remake is currently being developed by EA Motive and will only be released for the new consoles of PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
