In a recently discovered trademark application, Supermassive Games could be currently working on The Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me. A logo can also be seen in the same trademark filing.
The Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me leaked
As was already confirmed in the course of the official announcement, the horror series called The Dark Pictures will, in the best case, have numerous titles. The developers responsible for Supermassive Games are currently working on House of Ashes, the latest part of The Dark Pictures series, which will be released for PC and consoles this October.
Apparently, behind the scenes, preparations are already underway for the next title, which will apparently be called The Devil in Me. This is at least clear from a corresponding trademark protection entry that was submitted at the end of June.
In this one can also see a logo that confirms the name The Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me once again. Despite everything, we would like to point out that the title has not yet been confirmed by either Supermassive Games or Bandai Namco Entertainment.
It will be a few months before the official announcement of the next The Dark Pictures title comes, as the focus should initially be on the completion and publication of House of Ashes. The release of the horror adventure will take place on October 22, 2021.
In House of Ashes, the player leads to Iraq in 2003. Together with an elite unit, CIA field operative Rachel King explores a hidden chemical plant and comes across a dark secret that King and her companions have in one merciless struggle for life and death involved.
