How to Unlock the Alan Wake 2 New Game Plus Mode
You can unlock the New Game Plus mode called The Final Draft by completing the playthrough of Alan Wake 2. This new game update will be released on December 11th, 2023, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET and will be available for all platforms.
You will receive all the weapons, charms, and character upgrades earned during their finished playthrough as confirmed on their official website. You can also find your unlocked weapons in the first shoebox for the character. That means you won’t start New Game Plus with these weapons already in your inventory.
Here are the following features that the NG+ mode will feature:
- New Ending: The new game update adds a new ending to the layered story of Alan Wake. As stated on their official site, it will “spark speculation and theories among the dedicated fans”.
- Nightmare Difficulty: Tougher enemies and limited resources can make things more challenging.
- Additional Lore: You can find new videos and manuscript pages to expand the existing lore.
Furthermore, this update will feature bug fixes and slight performance optimizations. We can also expect two more DLC expansions after Alan Wake 2 that can expand Remedyverse. However, there is no release window for them currently.
