For many months now, rumors have continued on the internet that a new Silent Hill reboot game would be close to its announcement, and although Konami has decided to reorganize its sector dedicated to the development of new video games and the removal of a recent interview with the historical composer of the series Akira Yamaoka, the well-known insider Dusk Golem seems sure about its existence, reiterating several times that for more than two years a team has been working on the return of this historic survival horror saga.
In his usual series of tweets published on his official Twitter profile, the insider would have confirmed that a game belonging to this series has now been in development for more than two years and that it is about to be officially announced.
“The Silent Hill game I’m talking about started development in early 2019, it has been in dev for a little over 2 years now, which is not very long at all (most AAA games these days take 3-5 years to make), & as of 2 weeks ago, it’s not canceled. This is all 100% true,” Dusk Golem said via his personal Twitter account.

Unfortunately for the moment, we have to be content with the words of Dusk Golem, who in the past has proved to be quite reliable in his statements. If what he says turns out to be true, then, soon we will be able to witness a new rebirth of the Silent Hill game, which for too long has remained in the oblivion of Konami, especially if we consider the sad end that the direct Silent Hills project had.
We will keep you updated if we get any new information on the new Silent Hill reboot game, stay tuned on our website.
