Warner Bros. has officially confirmed the existence of Mortal Kombat 12, although apparently, the reveal could be closer than expected, according to a recent tweet by the MK game creator Ed Boon. Check out the complete details below.
Mortal Kombat 12 Reveal Will Be Soon, According to Ed Boon’s Tweet
A few days ago, David Zaslav, CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, revealed the arrival of Mortal Kombat 12 in the latest financial call. The last chapter developed by NetherRealm Studios was Mortal Kombat 11 and Ed Boon’s studio seems ready to go back to work on the most violent fighting game ever.
However, Ed Boon, the creator of Mortal Kombat, who had anticipated that the actual reveal of MK12 would most likely arrive by next June, is now back to tease the fans.
According to his latest tweet, Ed Boon may have hinted that something related to Mortal Kombat is on the way. In fact, Boon is always very active on social media and has fun with Mortal Kombat fans, especially since Warner has unwittingly stolen the show from him and the series.
In this recent hours, the MK co-creator tweeted the word “tick” 12 times. For many fans, that’s a pretty straightforward proof that a Mortal Kombat 12 announcement is imminent.
Tick, tick, tick,tick
Tick, tick, tick,tick

Tweeting 12 “ticks” doesn’t seem like a coincidence, given that some are convinced that the game will be officially presented on April 12, 2023. We just have to wait for the announcement from NetherRealm Studios.
Staying on the subject, we remind you that Ed Boon had already anticipated that the new chapter of the saga will fix a gap at the roster level, offering more fighters from the 3D chapters.
At the moment, however, no official Mortal Kombat 12 trailer or press release has been released, so we don’t know for sure what we can expect from the next chapter. We will keep you promptly updated on our website TechNClub as soon as we know more about this latest game.
