There are new leaks about next year’s Assassins Creed adventure. The new game in the franchise, called Assassin’s Creed Mirage, is set to release in the next year of spring 2023, and one of the studio’s new projects is reportedly a full remake of Assassin’s Creed. Check out all the details below.
Assassins Creed Mirage Leaked
According to a French YouTuber “j0nathan” familiar with the work of Ubisoft, he has published some new information about next year’s installment of the Assassin’s Creed series, which may be of interest to many players.
Between April 1 and June 31, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which was previously named Assassin’s Creed Rift, is to be released – it was codenamed. The game was set in Baghdad in the period from 860-870.
The developers chose to take advantage of the Anarchy at Samara – a period of extreme internal instability from 861 to 870 in the history of the Abbasid caliphate, marked by the violent succession of the four caliphs who became puppets in the hands of powerful rival military groups.
The main character will be Basim and, according to j0nathan, “many cities to discover, separated from each other by deserts and rivers like the kingdom of Assassin’s Creed 1” will appear in the game. Jason Schreier disagreed with this news, confirming that the name of the production and its premiere is correct, but the journalist is not convinced that several spots will be made available.
A person familiar tells me parts of this new Assassin's Creed leak are true (such as the name and the other stuff Bloomberg has already reported: spring 23, Baghdad, back to AC basics) and other parts are not ("multiple cities to explore") https://t.co/qmM6UZtKnG

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set to “get back to basics” and the game is “heavily inspired by the first Assassin’s Creed”. We won’t find many RPG elements in the production (choices during conversations, gender selection, no leveling system) and the title will be significantly different from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The developers have developed many new animations, that will ensure the return of Eagle Vision, and Basim will use a string dagger.
j0nathan also believes that Ubisoft is creating a full remake of Assassin’s Creed 1 – developers are to use “a large part of the assets” of Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
Assassin’s Creed 1 may be included in the Assassin’s Creed Mirage Season Pass, and Constantinople will appear among the add-ons, where Basim will meet Sigurd.
