Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 Price, Specs, Release Date
The new generation of Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 will be equipped with a very powerful chip: the S9 SiP. This chip will guarantee a duration of approximately 18 hours. Furthermore, Siri will be enhanced and integrated specifically to provide information on your health. You will be able to ask Apple’s voice assistant for feedback on your sleep or workouts.
It will be able to find your iPhone nearby and communicate with your other Apple Watch devices. It will have double the brightness compared to the previous generation and will have the NameDrop function, already introduced thanks to iOS 17.
And that’s not all: the most interesting feature is yet to come! The new “Double Tap” gesture will be able to recognize a double “pinch” to answer calls and manage timers.
During the presentation of the new iPhones and the new Watch Series 9, the new Apple Watch Ultra 2 was also shown. Apple’s new top-of-the-range smartwatch is full of new features and brings with it many interesting features, hidden under a body and a design identical to the first model. With improved battery life, Apple promises up to 72 hours on a single charge, if the watch is set to “Energy Saving” mode.
Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 will be available from September 22nd, with a price tag of $399 and $799/£849 respectively. Both smartwatches are available for pre-order starting from today onwards.
Goodbye to Leather Straps, Here Comes FineWoven and Recycled Plastic Straps
This year Apple has decided to move towards a particularly environmentally friendly approach. The Apple Watch Series 9 will be the first carbon-neutral device. Precisely for this reason the new straps will be made of ecological and also recycled materials. The first much talked about new material is FineWoven: an eco-fiber that is much more sustainable than the materials used in old straps.
For fans of high fashion brands who were already worried, don’t worry, the very famous collaboration between Apple and Hermès won’t stop here: the straps presented are truly gorgeous and, this time, have zero impact.
