How to Take Long Exposure Photos on iPhone?

Method 1: Take Long Exposure Photos on iPhone’s Camera App

  1. Open the Camera App on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the ‘Live Photo’ icon at the top.
  3. Tap the ‘Clock’ icon.
  4. Set the timer for 3 to 10 seconds.
  5. Place your iPhone on a tripod or any surface where it does not move at all.
    Note: Your iPhone needs to stay still or else the photos may end up getting worse.
  6. Capture a Live Photo using the ‘Shutter’ button.
  7. Now, open the Photos app on your iPhone.
  8. Open the Live Photo that you captured previously.
  9. Swipe up on the photo. This will bring up a tray of different effects that you can apply to a photo on your iPhone.
  10. Scroll through the list of the effects and select ‘Long Exposure’.
  11. Now, save the photo.
