In 2019, Microsoft launched its Xbox Elite Series 2. A controller that is, almost three years later, still among the best on the market. And the manufacturer is probably preparing some announcements at this level. Now, a video of a white Xbox Elite Series 2 controller has leaked online. Check out the complete details below.
White Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller Leaked
The Xbox Elite Series 2 controller has been available since 2019, but only in black color. A photo of a white Xbox Elite Series 2 controller appeared online last March, but it has been quiet around the accessory since then. However, in July, YouTuber Nicholas Lugo posted an unboxing video of the controller. The video caught the attention of the general public early this week.
In the same video (published at the bottom of this article), we can see an Xbox Elite Series 2 controller with a white color. The color is very similar to that sported by the Xbox Series S. It is still difficult to know if it is indeed a new version or an extremely well-designed fake. Indeed, a packaging that also seems authentic is visible in this clip.
It is not known how Lugo got the controller and whether Microsoft plans to sell the white controller. Fans are speculating that the company may officially unveil the controller at Gamescom at the end of this month.
According to reports, Microsoft was planning to launch a “new” Elite controller during the holiday season. So it could well be that white version. Apart from its aesthetics, the Elite Series 2 features interchangeable joysticks and paddles, as well as a button that allows players to quickly switch between three different profiles. It also has a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 40 hours.
