Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is here and many players are wondering if they should get the game’s Vault Edition. This is an important question no matter if you are new to the series or someone who has been playing the series since its Xbox 360 days.

Whether or not the Vault Edition of CoD MW3 is worth it depends on how much you plan on playing the game. If you are someone who is a big fan of the series and plan to play it every day or more frequently as compared to your other games, or if you only like playing this game then you should consider purchasing it.

However, if you aren’t into the series that much, and are just looking to play the game’s campaign mode and try out a bit of the multiplayer then it is probably best if you get the game’s standard edition. How to Upgrade to Vault Edition in CoD MW3

In order to upgrade your standard edition of the game you first need to buy the Vault Edition add-on from the store of the platform you play on.

Steam

  1. Go to the Call of Duty MW3 store page.
  2. Scroll down and you will find a “Content For This Game” option.
  3. Add it to your cart and buy it and you should get the upgrade in your game in some time.

Battle.net

On the store page, if you already have the standard edition of the game, then you should see just the upgrade cost for the Vault Edition.

Xbox

  1. Go to the MW3 page in the Microsoft Store.
  2. Click on the Choose Edition option and change it to Vault Edition Upgrade.

PlayStation

Similar to Battle.net, when you go to the Vault Edition page of the game, if you already have the standard edition it should show you the discounted price just for the upgrade.
