Ubisoft’s Star Wars Game To Release in Early 2024
After a long silence, the open world of Ubisoft dedicated to Star Wars has re-emerged, which could have a relatively close release window. According to reports from Kotaku, in fact, the title could come out within the fiscal year. Some sources have reported to the site some news that the open world of Star Wars should be released at the beginning of 2024.
Ubisoft told investors that while there have been some clear declines in earnings for the past fiscal year, the company expects titles like Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Skull and Bones, and at least one “another large game” to be released within the next 12 months will be able to raise the numbers.
According to the sources in question, who are very close to the upper floors of the company, an additional title would be the Star Wars open world. A project that was first heard of in 2021, by Ubisoft Massive, but traces of which have disappeared since then.
The rumors reveal a far-from-good development of the title, and Ubisoft hopes this is the company’s next big hit. A period in which, the company will have to prepare to launch the titles already mentioned.
Ubisoft will hold its event during the Summer Game Fest 2023, and on this occasion, confirmations or denials should arrive. Ubisoft has confirmed it will hold its own Ubisoft Forward on June 12th.
