Starfield Star Eagle Best Ship Upgrades

Starfield features a plethora of starships or spacecraft to travel as you venture into Bethesda’s massive universe for combat and exploration. One of these ships includes the Star Eagle Ship which you get as a reward for completing the Freestar Collective quest line. Being a ship class A, it features plenty of cargo capacity, shields, and incredible weapons. But while it’s a big boost from the Mantis ship early on, you must select the best upgrades to make it more efficient.

Best Starfield Star Eagle Ship Upgrades

You can upgrade and customize ships by talking to a Ship Services technician on any planet around different systems. As you do so, select the “I’d like to view and modify my ships” option. Then, press the A button to open the upgrades section. Press the X button to open the Ship Builder section.

So, here are the following upgrades best suited for the Star Eagle ship in Starfield:

100CM Ballast Shielded Cargo Hold

• Location: Red Mile at planet Porrima III in the Porrima system

A shielded cargo hold is essential for upgrading the Star Eagle ship in Starfield. This upgrade not only increases your ship’s inventory space and Hull, it also helps smuggle the contraband items. With this ship upgrade, you can easily sneak any contraband items into any patrolled planet.

PB-50 Proton Beam

• Location: At any Ship services vendors

While the lasers for the Star Eagle ship are perfect for combat, the Proton Beam aims for a faster fire rate. It is faster and deals more damage.

SA-4330 Engine

• Location: At any Ship services Vendor (Available at level 45)

With faster fire rate and combat, comes faster speed and acceleration. You can drastically upgrade both things by applying the SA-4300 engine to your ship. However, note that you require a rank 4 Starship design skill to buy this upgrade in Starfield.
