Silent Hill 2 will receive a remake made by Bloober Team, although the development team could use a technology that was patented in the past and well known to players for the game and used in The Medium title. Check out the complete details below.
Silent Hill 2 Remake To Use Technology Seen in The Medium
The CEO of Bloober Team has revealed that the company’s plans are to revolutionize the way they develop horror games and tell stories, which is no small feat. Now, according to a discussion on Twitter, it has emerged that the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake may use Bloober’s patented technology.
The Konami horror saga will receive a remake of one of the most loved chapters ever. Many horror fans are eagerly awaiting Bloober Team’s reimagining of the iconic Silent Hill 2 remake, but there have been rumors among the gaming community that the developer may be employing the patented technology seen in The Medium.
The Twitter user “bobvids” gave his opinion on the upcoming remake, theorizing that the game could use the studio’s dual reality technology. This idea came after visual artist and content creator Rino posted a list of all the things that could make the upcoming remake a hit.
*wonders why konami would be "wowed" by a sh2 remake pitch*
*remembers bloober team have a patent for the dual world technology they used previously in 'the medium'*
*realizes the minimum requirements for sh2r are weirdly high and comparable to 'the medium'*

One entry on the list reveals that Konami was reportedly impressed with Bloober’s concept for the game, leading bobvids to speculate that SH2 Remake could use the studio’s dual reality technology. The speculation seems supported by the fact that the minimum specs on PC seem “oddly high” and almost on par with The Medium’s requirements.
For the uninitiated, the 2021 horror game featured a unique double reality mechanic that, at various points in the story, allowed the screen to split into two worlds that existed simultaneously. The player’s movements were mimicked in the spirit realm, and the game required the protagonist to solve puzzles using this dual reality system.
It should be emphasized that it has not been confirmed whether Silent Hill 2 remake will also have this feature, but it cannot be excluded that this could happen. We will keep you posted once we get confirmation from the publishers themselves, so stay tuned for more information only on TechNClub.com.
