The catalog of PS Plus free games was immediately enriched with many titles, providing a great bonus for Extra and Premium subscribers. While the “classic” PlayStation Plus reveals the first free titles, Sony lets itself go with regard to the free games catalog of the highest subscriptions.

PlayStation has thus unveiled, via its official blog, the new games that will be included in the PlayStation Plus games catalog for April 2023. All games will be available from April 18, 2023.

Here are the titles for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 coming in PS Plus Extra and Premium for April:

    • Kena: Bridge of Spirits | PS4, PS5
    • Doom Eternal | PS4, PS5
    • RidersRepublic | PS4, PS5
    • Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus | PS4
    • Slay the Spire | PS4
    • Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom | PS4, PS5
    • The Evil Within | PS4
    • Wolfenstein: The Old Blood | PS4
    • Bassmaster Fishing | PS4, PS5
    • Paradise Killer | PS4, PS5
    • Sackboy: A Big Adventure | PS4, PS5

The PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue for April includes:

    ➕ Kena: Bridge of Spirits
    ➕ Doom Eternal
    ➕ Riders Republic
    ➕ Slay the Spire

But there are also free games for the most nostalgic, titles from the past PlayStation that will be included in the subscription tier in the same way. Curiously, along with the games already mentioned, there are all Bethesda products in defiance of the acquisition by Xbox:

    • Doom | PS4
    • Doom II | PS4
    • Doom 64 | PS4
    • Doom 3 | PS4
    • Dishonored: Definitive Edition | PS4

However, there will also be some games leaving the subscription service, as specified by PlayStation on the blog:

As part of our normal content refresh, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Resident Evil, and NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 will be among some of the titles leaving the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May. Members with Game Catalog benefits can still play by May 15. You can always check the ‘Last chance to play section’ on the PlayStation Plus -> Collections page on the PS5 console, or PlayStation Plus -> Games -> Games Catalogue on the PS4 console for titles you might want to play before they leave the service.

We remind you that in order to take advantage of these free games you need a PS Plus Extra and Premium subscription.
