How to Get Falinks in Pokemon GO

You can catch and get Falinks only in the wild like other Pokemon. Despite having a rare spawn rate, this is the only way to capture this Pokemon. However, you can get increased spawn rates during special events and research tasks.

For example, the recent Lunar New Year of this year had players completing Global Challenge: Dragons Unleashed. One of the bonus rewards for this event included a wildlife encounter with the Falinks. That said, this event lasted only until 11th February 2024.

But don’t worry, the spawn rates of Falinks might also be boosted for future events. Falinks has been a part of several Field research events in the past. So, we recommend players to keep on checking for the upcoming events.

Can you Catch a Shiny Falinks?

No, unfortunately, a shiny Falinks isn’t available or added to the Pokemon GO as of now. For that, you might have to wait for a Community Day. On the brighter side, there are also many Gen 8 shinies available to catch. This includes Shiny Galarian Farfetch’d, Zigzagoon, Meowth, and more.
