Helldivers 2 features a plethora of weapons, armor, and gear to survive against the Terminid and Automaton factions. As you progress, you may need to replace and upgrade your gear with better weapons. With better weapons, you can deal more damage against both factions and progress faster. How to Unlock New Weapons in Helldivers 2
You can unlock new weapons by farming Medals. For that, you must complete the daily missions, objectives, and various side missions. Once you have gathered enough Medals, you can spend them on buying Warbonds. As of now, there are only two types of Warbonds or seasonal battle passes in the game. While the Veterans Steeled is a Premium Warbond, Helldivers Immobilize is free for all players.
So, here’s how to unlock new weapons in Helldivers 2:
- Head over to the Acquisition Center from the top of the screen.
- When you are prompted to the Store, spend Medals to unlock weapons and Warbonds.
For every Warbond you spend, you can purchase new weapons and gear. If you are short of the Warbonds, you can also buy Super Credits, the premium currency. Alternatively, you can also complete the Points of Interest (POI) objectives for earning Super Credits for free.
For the players that have purchased the Deluxe or the Super Citizen Edition, you can automatically unlock the Steeled Veterans Premium Warbond.
