There is still some time left for the launch of Black Myth: Wukong, the long-awaited action RPG from the Chinese Game Science team. However, in the past few hours, the studio has opened the game’s Steam page, showing new images that allow us to take a new look at the title, along with some new gameplay videos and a confirmed release window. Black Myth: Wukong Release Window & New Gameplay Video
As per tradition, August is confirmed as the favorite month by Black Myth: Wukong and by the Game Science developers to reveal new details of the much-awaited soulslike, such as the confirmation of the game’s release period.
In fact, by updating the game’s website, the Chinese team reiterated that the debut of the Black Myth: Wukong is set for the summer of 2024 revealing, for the first time in an official way, that the title will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
In addition to these screenshots, the Black Myth: Wukong demo is out in China. Although it is not playable in the West, someone has decided to record fragments of gameplay and publish them on the net, as you can see in the two videos at the bottom of this news that show a battle with a boss and other scenes from the game.
Black Myth: Wukong is an action RPG that has its roots in Chinese mythology. The story is based on “Journey to the West”, one of the four great classic novels in Chinese literature. As the Destined, you will venture into the challenges and wonders that await you, to discover the truth obscured under the veil of a glorious legend of the past.
