Announced on Nintendo Switch, the platform on which it will arrive soon, The House of The Dead Remake has apparently also been spotted on PS4. A leaked image of the title has been posted on the PSN backend, which seems to confirm that the game might also release on PlayStation 4 console.
The House of the Dead Remake Coming to PS4?
The long-awaited remake of The House of the Dead is coming soon on Nintendo Switch, but rumors of the title being ported to the PS4 are circulating among fans of the genre.
As mentioned above, the remake of Sega’s arcade game will soon join the Nintendo Switch catalog. It will be released in Europe on April 7 on the eShop before appearing in the physical edition on May 26.
However, it looks like the hybrid console of Nintendo would not be the only platform to host the title revisited by the development studio MegaPixel Studio. Google’s Stadia should also be one of its destinations, but not only that.
Indeed, according to a leak of an image present in the PlayStation Network Backend, The House of the Dead Remake would also be made available on PS4.
Recall that the re-release of the Japanese classics from Sega is handled by the publishing house Forever Entertainment, responsible for the remake of Panzer Dragoon.
The updated The House of the Dead follows the formula of the original version of the game, first released in 1997 on arcade machines and then ported to the Sega Saturn console, but will offer completely redesigned graphics and improved gameplay to match modern gaming consoles. Support for up to two players, a photo mode, and an achievement system are announced for the release.
If this is confirmed, would the game be released simultaneously on the PS4 with the Nintendo Switch counterpart? We will have to wait and see, so stay tuned on TechNClub.com for more news on this title.
