Beyond Good & Evil 2 has now disappeared from circulation, given that in recent months we have witnessed a deafening silence about the new adventure. Leaving aside the success of games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla it seems that many other projects have disappeared into thin air. Now, according to the ESRB rating, it seems that Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition is going to be released soon. Check out all the details below.
Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition Rated by ESRB
Beyond Good & Evil, Ubisoft’s historic game will turn 20 in November, and it seems that the French company is working on a gift for fans of the series. As discovered by Twitter user @MACOS380, the ESRB, the US gaming classification body, recently classified an unannounced Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition. According to the page, the game will be released soon on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.

The action-adventure game is rated “E10+” and contains fantasy blood and violence. Here is a summary of the classification, which contains a little information about this unannounced release:
“It is an action-adventure game where players take on the role of a reporter accompanied by a pig-like companion investigating a conspiracy on the planet Hillys. From a third-person perspective, players explore fictional locations, photograph evidence, solve puzzles, and battle robots and alien enemies,” the description reads.
“Combat is sometimes quick, with players using melee weapons (e.g., staffs, torches) to strike at stylized enemies who generally break apart or vanish in puffs of smoke. A boss fight depicts a squid-like alien stabbed in the eye, with yellow-green splatter effects,” the description further reads.
While the return of Beyond Good & Evil therefore seems to be around the corner, practically nothing is known about the sequel announced in 2008. There have been several personnel changes within Ubisoft Montpellier in recent years, and the project is still in its early stages.
