The developers of Assassin’s Creed Mirage participated in an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Reddit revealing some new information about the Ubisoft game, including confirmation that there will be a photo mode in the title at launch. Check out all the information below.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage Will Have a Photo Mode at Launch, No DLC After Release
It looks like that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will get one of the most popular modes in any self-respecting game, especially single-player, namely the Photo Mode at launch, as confirmed by the art director Jean-Luc Sala in a recent AMA session on Reddit. The tool will use the same set of features seen in Valhalla in 2020 with the addition of capturing images with the visual filter of the first chapter of the saga.
According to the director, the players are going to get plenty of photo opportunities in and around Baghdad, thanks to the visual offering of the setting. In addition, players will also have the chance to try their hand at a photo safari of the now-extinct Arabian ostriches.
Sala also confirmed that Mirage’s photo mode will use the same features as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Photo Mode, with the addition of the ability to capture images with the Assassin’s Creed 1 visual filter applied to the game.
So we can’t wait to experience it first hand, also admiring the shots that will unsurprisingly invade social media and not only at the time of the game’s launch.
Additionally, the creative director Stephane Boudon has confirmed that there will be no DLC or new post-launch content in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. This confirms Ubisoft’s intention to offer a more contained gaming experience and is in line with the very first chapters of the saga.
Recall that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on October 12, 2023, for Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
