Super Mario RPG Remake Announced for Nintendo Switch
Nintendo has just announced a version of the Super Mario RPG remake with updated graphics. Super Mario RPG is coming to Nintendo Switch on November 17, 2023.
Nintendo announced this remake today during the Nintendo Direct. During the presentation, they showed that the game will get completely renewed graphics. In addition, the characteristic turn-based combat was shown in which Mario fights against familiar enemies.
This title seems to be the remake of Legend of the Seven Stars originally released for the SNES in 1996 in Japan and the USA, being the first game of the world’s famous Plumber in an RPG style, with turn-based combat and a team of up to 3 characters.
The plot of the game features Mario looking for the 7-star pieces of Star Road — the game was a critical success and paved the way for series like Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi.
Recall that on November 17, 2023, Super Mario RPG will be released on Switch. Pre-orders for the game start today on Nintendo eShop.
